Definition and advantages of distributed energy

Distributed Energy Resources (Distributed Energy Resources) refers to a comprehensive energy utilization system distributed at the user end, which determines the unit configuration and capacity scale by optimizing resources, environment and economic benefits. It pursues the maximization of terminal energy utilization efficiency, adopts demand response design and modular combination configuration, can meet the user's various energy needs, and can optimize and integrate the supply and demand of resource allocation. Distributed energy now includes natural gas, biomass, solar, wind, ocean, and other forms of energy.

Compared with the traditional centralized energy system, the distributed energy system directly faces the user, produces and supplies energy on the spot according to the user's needs, has a variety of functions, and is a medium and small energy conversion and utilization system that can meet multiple goals. At the demand site, according to the different needs of users for energy, to achieve the temperature counterpart supply of energy, to minimize the loss of the transmission link, so as to maximize the efficiency of energy utilization.

Development status of distributed energy industry in China

China's distributed energy started late, but the development speed is fast, at present, the domestic distributed energy is mainly natural gas, biomass energy, solar photovoltaic.

1. Analysis of the status quo of natural gas distributed power generation

According to the "2018-2023 China Distributed Energy Industry Business model innovation and Investment prospects forecast Analysis Report" data show that China's natural gas distributed development has just started, in 2016, the cumulative installed capacity of natural gas distributed power generation in the country is 12 million kilowatts, less than 2% of the total installed capacity of the country. There is a big gap between the "Guiding Opinions on the Development of natural gas distributed Energy" and the target of 50 million kilowatts of installed capacity by 2020.

According to the Guiding Opinions on the Development of Natural gas distributed Energy, China will build about 1,000 natural gas distributed energy projects and plan to build about 10 distributed energy demonstration areas with various typical characteristics. By 2020, cities above designated size in the country will promote the use of distributed energy systems, and the installed capacity will reach 50 million kilowatts, initially realizing the industrialization of distributed energy equipment.

2, distributed photovoltaic power generation status analysis

Today, China has achieved initial results in "comprehensively promoting distributed photovoltaic and 'photovoltaic +' comprehensive utilization projects". Data show that by the end of 2016, the cumulative installed capacity of photovoltaic power stations in China was 67.1 million kilowatts, while the distributed cumulative installed capacity reached 10.32 million kilowatts. As of the end of September, the installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation in the country reached 120 million kilowatts, of which 94.8 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power stations and 25.62 million kilowatts of distributed photovoltaic.

3, biomass power generation status analysis

The main ways of biomass utilization are direct combustion, power generation, gasification and conversion into formed fuels. The so-called biomass gasification refers to the use of industrial means to turn straw into natural gas, and the natural gas transformed from straw is not competitive compared with coal, but it is competitive compared with gas and natural gas. Straw gasification can also solve the problem of centralized gas supply in small areas. In addition, biomass molding fuel is a good alternative to coal. Molding fuel in our country has been practiced for several years, the technology has been relatively mature, such as straw curing molding is a mature technology.

In recent years, with the increasing development and utilization of renewable energy, biomass power generation has been rapidly developed. In 2016, the installed capacity of China's biomass power generation projects reached 12.248 million kilowatts, an increase of 1.049 million kilowatts over 2015, and the power generation reached 63.41 billion kilowatt-hours, equivalent to two-thirds of the Three Gorges hydropower. According to the data, at present, China's biomass power generation projects have reached 665, and 66 projects have been added in 2016 alone, becoming the new darling of the investment field.

Biomass power generation has become a new driving force for the development of distributed energy

Biomass power generation has received more and more attention in the world, and has also received more and more attention from the government in China. According to the "13th Five-Year Plan" biomass energy development plan, by 2020, biomass energy utilization will reach 57 million tons of standard coal, of which biomass energy boiler heating per hour will reach 20,000 tons of steam, biomass energy solid fuel annual utilization of 10 million tons of standard coal; 10 billion cubic meters of bio-natural gas; The total biomass liquid fuel will reach 6 million tons, of which 4 million tons of fuel ethanol and 2 million tons of biodiesel.

In addition, according to the requirements of the medium and long-term development plan of renewable energy, by 2020, China's total installed capacity of biomass power generation will reach 30 million kilowatts. It can be considered that biomass power generation will be another major market for the development of distributed energy.
