When installing the smart panel, it is important to note that the installation bracket must not bend or twist the touch screen. Common debugging faults and countermeasures
No display when turned on: Check if the DC In voltage is 19V ± 15%; Confirm that the CRT/DVI/DisplayPort cables are connected correctly; If using an LVDS screen, check the DISP related signals and 3.3VDISP power supply in Connector C.
USB device not recognized: Check if Legacy USB Support is enabled; Check if USB Functions are set to Enabled in BIOS; Confirm that USB-Px+/- differential cable pairs are twisted and have matching lengths.
Network connection failure: Check if the GBE_MDI differential pair is twisted according to the manual; Confirm that the ACT/LINK LED of PHY is normal; Check if the LAN controller is disabled in BIOS.
Serial communication garbled code: Check if the COM port address and IRQ are consistent with the operating system allocation; Check baud rate, data bits, stop bits, and flow control settings; Ensure that the RS-232 voltage level is within the range of ± 5V~± 12V.
System overheating restart: Check if the cooling fan is rotating (the BIOS hardware health page can read the speed); Confirm that the heat sink is in good contact with the CPU/GPU; Consider adjusting the fan mode to Full On or lowering the ambient temperature.
Touch screen unresponsive: Confirm that the touch controller driver has been installed; Check if the connection of the 5-wire resistive touch screen is secure; You can check whether the USB touch devices have been successfully enumerated in the Device Manager.
