Screen flicker or color cast 1. Signal attenuation caused by long cable
2. BNC connector oxidation check if the cable length is ≤ 100m; clean the connector contacts and replace with a higher specification CP Link cable (such as H2000FLEX)
Keyboard unresponsive 1. Damaged keyboard diaphragm (hard object puncture)
2. Check for CP Link data channel faults to see if any buttons are stuck; Lightly touch other keys with fingertips to replace the keyboard film or send the whole machine for repair (note: the keyboard is not an independent replaceable component)
Touch screen offset or unresponsive 1. Poor grounding (EMI interference)
2. Check if the grounding bolt is tightened for surface contamination on the touch screen; Clean the screen surface (using a soft cloth dipped in water) for touch calibration (run "Tablet PC Settings" in Windows); If it is ineffective, the touch screen needs to be replaced
The PC cannot boot the floppy disk left in the floppy drive (old model) or the hard disk fails to remove the floppy disk. Press any key to continue booting and running SCANDISK with the boot disk; Check BIOS settings
Intermittent interruption of CP Link cable operation due to strong electromagnetic interference or small bending radius. Check if the cable path is far away from the frequency converter and large motor cables; Ensure that the bending radius meets the specifications and use cables with better shielding (such as Cellflex) or add magnetic rings
After sales support: If the above cannot be resolved, please record the panel project number (see nameplate) and contact Beckhoff Service (hotline+49 5246 963-460). Before contacting, it is best to confirm the status of the CP Link card indicator light on the PC side for quick positioning.
Environmental specifications and safety taboos
To ensure a long lifespan, the following limits must be strictly adhered to:
Environmental temperature: Operating at 0-55 ° C; Storage/transportation at -20~+65 ° C.
Relative humidity: up to 95%, no condensation (condensation can cause high voltage ignition and short circuit).
Protection level: The front of the panel is IP65 (dustproof and waterproof), but the connectors (BNC and power port) are only IP54. Therefore, if the panel is installed in a damp and dusty environment, it is recommended to install a protective cover or sealed box for the rear interface.
Explosive hazard zone: strictly prohibited from use (without explosion-proof certification).
Fire prevention: In case of fire, only powder extinguisher or nitrogen can be used to put out the fire, and water or foam is not allowed.
Scrap disposal and environmental protection
When the panel reaches the end of its service life and needs to be scrapped, local electronic waste regulations must be followed. Classification and processing after disassembly:
Aluminum casing → metal recycling.
Circuit boards and lamps (containing mercury) should be collected separately as electronic waste and should not be mixed with household waste.
Button film, plastic parts → plastic recycling (if separable).
