At 19:00 on April 23, Kazakhstan time, the 22H-01 well drilled by Zhongman 7 team in Tenge Oilfield was successfully drilled to 3,163 meters, and the 611.5 meters horizontal section created the construction record of the longest open hole section and the longest horizontal section in this block.

Tenge 22H-01 is the first horizontal well to be deployed in the field in 2024 and also the first three-section horizontal well in the project, which has many problems such as easy collapse, diameter shrinkage, block loss and serious loss. The well started drilling at 0:00 on March 19 and was completed at 19:00 on April 23, taking 35.79 days. Before the construction, the project team carried out a comprehensive maintenance and inspection of the equipment, and formulated detailed construction plans and countermeasures for the difficulties to ensure that each process was scientifically matched. At the same time, the platform manager and the drilling engineer gave technical information to all the construction personnel to ensure that every employee was a "clear person". During the construction, the project and above actively exert the integrated management mode of the project, plan in advance, carefully organize, refine measures, and implement various technical measures in strict accordance with the plan to ensure the safe construction of each link in the drilling process.

The 22H-01 well was constructed using new mud materials such as nano plugging and Zhongman's high-performance water-based drilling fluid technology, which effectively prevented and reduced wall collapse, lumping and diameter reduction, and enhanced the mud plugging while drilling, while reducing well control risks. At present, well 22H-01 is being completed, and the employees are enthusiastic, saying that they will further speed up the construction of the next horizontal well and contribute to the production of the Tenge field.

It is understood that six horizontal Wells and three directional Wells have been deployed in Tenge block this year, and the completion of well 22H-01 has a high guiding significance for the development of subsequent horizontal Wells and directional Wells.
