The textile industry resolutely implements the spirit of the central directive, strives to promote accelerated adjustment of industrial structure, continues to strengthen intelligent and green transformation and upgrading, and promotes coordinated regional development in an orderly manner, making important contributions to the stabilization and recovery of the national economy. The development resilience and competitiveness of the textile industry have largely benefited from the continuous deepening of the integration of the two over the years and the steady improvement of the industry's digital capabilities. The report of the Party's 20th National Congress clearly pointed out that "accelerate the development of the digital economy, promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, and build digital industrial clusters with international competitiveness." This puts forward clear goals and requirements for the textile industry to accelerate the digital transformation, build a modern textile industrial system, and achieve high-quality development.

He pointed out that to achieve this goal, first, the industry needs to further raise awareness of the importance of digital transformation; Second, enterprises should pay attention to results in the process of digital transformation; Third, we should further strengthen public services to provide accurate services for the digital transformation of smes. Fourth, we need to promote connectivity, openness and sharing. Fifth, it is necessary to speed up the development and improvement of relevant standards for industry digitalization.

Li Yizhong, former Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and president of the China Federation of Industrial Economics, said in a video speech that accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system is one of the major issues in the current economic work, and is a strategic measure to build a solid foundation for economic recovery and promote Chinese-style modernization. Among them, building advanced manufacturing industry clusters and accelerating the upgrading and development of industrial systems is a key link.

He pointed out that the textile industry is a pillar industry of the economy and society, a basic industry to ensure people's livelihood and beautify life, an advantageous industry for international cooperation and integrated development, and an important component of the modern industrial system. The high-quality development of the industry requires the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, the cross-border integration of modern service industry and advanced manufacturing industry, and the specific implementation of these two national strategies in the textile industry. Transformation and upgrading should cover all links of the entire industrial chain; It should penetrate into scientific and technological innovation, infrastructure, production and operation, platform services, enterprise transformation, personnel training and other levels, and it should constantly introduce new technologies, new products, new materials, new business forms and new models. The digital transformation of the textile industry is at the forefront of various industries, and high-end textile clusters such as Suzhou, Wuxi and Nantong have taken the lead in entering the national advanced manufacturing cluster. He hopes that the textile industry through the deep integration of the two, accelerate transformation and upgrading, and create conditions for forward-looking layout.
