Launch Beckhoff Control Tool (with the sun icon appearing on the taskbar).

Right click on the sun icon and select "Cleaning Mode".

The duration of the cleaning mode can be configured between 5 and 120 seconds (set through the "Options" menu).

5.3 Protective Film Bonding

If short-term dust and scratch prevention is required, Beckhoff protective film can be applied. Operation points:

Operate in a dust-free environment as much as possible.

Thoroughly clean the screen surface and remove any remaining grease.

Peel off the protective film from the bottom paper on the short side and attach it to the surface.

Use a scraper (or a tool with soft rubber/felt edges) to gradually advance and squeeze out the bubbles.

Be extra careful when removing the protective film to avoid damaging the touch sensitive film located between the glass panel and the protective film - it should be slowly removed from a corner at the flattest possible angle.

Selection suggestion: When the distance is ≤ 5 meters, choose the standard DVI+USB kit; When the distance is greater than 5 meters to 50 meters, the USB Extended kit (C9900-K625 to K629) with CU8801 conversion box must be selected.

Chapter 7: Quick Troubleshooting Checklist

Possible causes of malfunction and corresponding measures

The control panel is completely non functional and the power supply is not connected/internal fault check X106 voltage (Pin 4/5), confirm that the voltage is in the range of 22-30V; Observe the status of the rear LED "Power Good" and "24V in"; If it is invalid, contact Beckhoff Service.

The screen is extremely dark or completely black (power indicator is normal), and the backlight of the display screen is aging or damaged/internal component failure requires contact with Beckhoff Service for repair or replacement.

Complete failure or occasional misoperation of touch function grounding (FE) is poor or missing/the operator has not effectively grounded. 1. Check whether the grounding bolt of the rear shell is reliably connected to the grounding point of the control cabinet (≥ 4mm ²).

2. Ensure that the operator is wearing normal shoes and standing on the ground (human body grounded).

There is no image during the startup process. After entering Windows, the DDC file transfer rate is displayed as too high. Check the DDC transfer rate in the VideoBIOS or Windows graphics card driver to ensure that its value is ≤ 50kHz.

Communication error occurs when connecting TwinCAT via USB. The TwinCAT cycle period is set too short (default 10ms). Increase the TwinCAT cycle period to between 50ms and 80ms.

Remote (>5m) touch unresponsive without using USB Extended solution/CAT-5 cable connected in series with a switch. Confirm the use of CU8801 conversion box and ensure that the USB Extended cable is directly connected without any intermediate nodes.
