ABB DSU10 Controller Module

Product Overview

ABB DSU10 controller module is a high-performance core component specially built for industrial automation control scenarios, which is mainly used to realize precise control and monitoring of automation equipment and systems. The module can receive input signals from sensors, operator panels and other devices, and after internal arithmetic and logic processing, output control commands to drive actuators, such as motors, valves, etc., so as to realize the automation control of industrial production processes. With powerful data processing capabilities, rich communication interfaces and flexible programming functions, it can adapt to the needs of different industrial application scenarios and effectively improve the stability, reliability and intelligence of industrial automation systems.

Hardware parameters

Processor: adopts high-performance microprocessor with fast data processing and computing ability, capable of completing complex control algorithms and logic processing tasks in a short time to ensure rapid system response.

Memory: Equipped with a certain capacity of memory, including Random Access Memory (RAM) and Flash Memory, RAM is used for program operation and temporary storage of data to ensure smooth operation of the program; Flash Memory is used for storing user programs, configuration parameters, etc., and the data will not be lost even in the event of power failure.

Input and output interfaces:

Digital Input: There are several digital input channels, which can receive switching signals from external devices, such as the on/off status of sensors, operation signals of buttons, etc. It supports TTL/CMOS level standard.

Digital Output: Equipped with a corresponding number of digital output channels, it can be used to output switching control signals to drive relays, solenoid valves and other actuators, and its output driving capability meets the requirements of industrial sites.

Analog Input: Some models are equipped with analog input channels, which can receive voltage (e.g., 0 - 10V, ±10V) or current (e.g., 4 - 20mA) signals, and are used to collect analog data such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate, etc. The analog inputs have high resolution, which enables accurate data collection.

Analog Output: Provides analog output channels, which can output voltage or current signals for controlling devices requiring analog inputs, such as adjusting motor speed and controlling valve opening.

Communication interface: support a variety of communication protocols, such as Ethernet (Ethernet), Profibus DP, DeviceNet, etc., equipped with the corresponding communication interface, such as RJ45 Ethernet interface, DB9 serial port, etc., to facilitate communication and data exchange with the PLC, the host computer, other controller modules, and field devices.

Working voltage: usually 24V DC power supply, with over-voltage, under-voltage protection, when the voltage exceeds a certain range (such as 18 - 30V), automatically cut off the power supply to protect the internal circuitry of the module, to ensure that the unstable power supply environment can be safe operation.

Power consumption: low power consumption, under normal working condition, the power consumption is generally between a few watts and a dozen watts, reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
