Inert gas pressure and temperature transmitter: T901-Px1A series technical analysis and application

Product Overview

The T901-Px1A series transmitter is an intelligent sensor that integrates pressure and temperature measurement, designed specifically for liquid cargo monitoring systems. Its most significant feature is that the equipment can be directly connected to the radar system, and only one installation is needed to simultaneously obtain the two key parameters of pressure and temperature, greatly simplifying the system integration process and reducing installation and maintenance costs.

The design of this device fully considers the complexity of the marine environment and has excellent corrosion resistance and vibration resistance. Its modular structure not only enhances the maintainability of the equipment, but also provides users with the possibility of flexible configuration, which can adapt to different sizes and types of liquid cargo holds.


Core technical specifications

1. Pressure measurement

T901-Px1A adopts an absolute pressure sensor with a measurement range of 800 to 2000 mbar (absolute value), and an accuracy of ± 0.3% FS (full range) at 20 ℃ environment. Its output signal is 0.5 to 2.5 Vdc, using a three wire connection method. The maximum allowable overvoltage of the device is 4000 mbar (absolute value), and the supply voltage is 5 Vdc.

This pressure sensor adopts a ceramic diaphragm, which has good corrosion resistance and is particularly suitable for salt spray environments. The pressure sensor is designed to be detachable, making it easy for users to regularly clean the pressure interface and ensure long-term stable operation.

2. Temperature measurement

The temperature measurement part adopts PT100 Ω (at 0 ℃) platinum resistance temperature sensor, which meets the accuracy standard of IEC 751 Class B. Each transmitter can be equipped with 1 to 3 temperature probes, covering a measurement range of -46 ℃ to+250 ℃, meeting the temperature monitoring needs of the vast majority of liquid goods during transportation and storage.

The temperature probe also adopts a three wire connection to ensure the stability and accuracy of signal transmission. The multi probe configuration enables the equipment to achieve multi-point temperature monitoring in the same cargo hold, providing more accurate temperature data for computer systems, thereby more accurately correcting liquid density parameters and improving cargo measurement accuracy.

1. Intrinsic safety and explosion-proof certification

The T901-Px1A series transmitter has passed the International Electrotechnical Commission Explosion proof Certification (IECEx) and the European Union Explosion proof Directive (ATEX) certification, complies with the II 1 G D Ex ia IIC or IIB T6 Ga standards, and is suitable for Zone 0 hazardous areas. Its dust explosion-proof level is Ex ia IIIC T80 ° C Da, with IP66/IP67 protection level, and can operate safely in harsh industrial and marine environments.

2. Working and storage temperature

The working environment temperature range of the equipment is -35 ℃ to+70 ℃, and the storage temperature range is -55 ℃ to+85 ℃. It can adapt to extreme climate conditions worldwide and ensure stable operation in complex environments such as high temperature, low temperature, and humidity.

The housing, temperature sensor, and pressure sensor body of T901-Px1A are all made of 316L stainless steel material, which has excellent resistance to seawater corrosion. The standard length of temperature probes includes 1 meter, 2 meters, 3 meters, 5 meters, 8 meters, 15 meters, etc., and can also be customized according to customer needs. 1. Process connection

T901-Px1A adopts standard process connection interface, which is convenient for docking with valves or pipeline systems of various liquid cargo tanks. It has excellent sealing performance and can withstand high pressure and severe vibration environments.

2. Electrical connection

The electrical part adopts a three wire output interface, supporting 0.5 to 2.5 Vdc analog signal output, making it easy to integrate with radar systems, PLCs, or data acquisition systems.
