Wiring Requirements: The length of power supply wiring should be less than 10 m. When wiring, pay attention to the connection position of different coloured wires, for example, the blue wire of remote I/O cable connects to Terminal 1, the shielded wire connects to SH, and the Clear wire connects to Terminal 2. Avoid connecting or disconnecting the wiring under electric condition to prevent arcing and causing danger. There are specific requirements for the wiring of different modules, such as digital modules, analogue modules, etc., and do not connect more than 2 conductors to a single terminal.

Module operation

Module plugging and unplugging: Although the module can be plugged and unplugged electrically, the operation may affect the system when the backplane is electrified, so it should be avoided as much as possible. When replacing modules, be careful to prevent debris from falling into the module to avoid damaging the equipment.

Switch settings: When setting switches such as the address mode, be sure to do so in the event of a power outage or to ensure the safety of the area to prevent the danger of arcing due to electrified operation. Some of the adapter switches are different from the old version, so you need to identify them carefully before setting.

Environment

Static electricity protection: The equipment is sensitive to static electricity. When operating the equipment, you should discharge static electricity by touching a grounded object, wear a grounded wrist strap, avoid touching connectors and circuitry components, and use a static-safe workstation if available, and store the equipment in a suitable static-safe package when not in use.

Electromagnetic compatibility: This equipment may have electromagnetic compatibility issues in residential and other environments, and appropriate precautions should be taken when using it.
