Communication and Remote Monitoring
1. Telephone line communication
The panel is equipped with DACT and supports dual telephone line redundancy. Programming options include:
Line monitoring (enabled/disabled)
Dialing method (pulse/audio/alternating)
Rotation format (60/40 or 66/34)
Number of ringing responses (0-15)
Answering machine bypass (used in conjunction with SKSS)
2. Report format
Supports the following central station receiving formats:
SIA (maximum of 8 events per phone call)
S20 (SIA extension, up to 20 events)
Contact ID (in Ademco format)
3. Remote programming
Local or remote programming can be performed through the 5660 Silent Knight software suite (SKSS). The panel supports RS-232 direct connection or built-in modem remote connection.
Compatible devices
1. Addressable detectors and modules
SK series:
Detector: SK-Photo、SK-Photo-T、SK-Acclimate、SK-Heat、SK-Heat-HT、SK-Heat-RO、SK-Fire-CO、SK-Beam、SK-Beam-T
modular: SK-Monitor、SK-Monitor-2、SK-Mon-10、SK-Relay、SK-Relay-6、SK-RelayMon-2、SK-Zone、SK-Zone-6、SK-Control、SK-Control-6、SK-Iso

2. Two wire smoke detector
Compatible with Apollo, ESL, Falcon, Hochiki, System Sensor and other brands of two-wire detectors, the maximum number of detectors per circuit depends on the model (such as System Sensor 1451 with a maximum of 20 detectors per circuit).
3. Notify devices
Compatible with AMSECO, FCI, Federal Signal, Gentex, System Sensor, Wheelock and other brands of speakers, flashlights, and speaker/flashlight combinations. Please refer to Appendix A for specific models.
Maintenance and troubleshooting
1. Regular testing
Testing shall be conducted monthly or in accordance with local fire regulations
Notify the fire department and central station before testing
The notification device can be temporarily disabled through the DISABLE function to avoid false alarms during testing
2. Common troubleshooting
Possible causes and solutions for the fault phenomenon
DBL ADDR "displays multiple devices using the same address and re addressing according to the correct process
SLC equipment missing wiring errors, polarity errors, address not set check polarity, address, loop impedance
Auxiliary power supply polarity error, wiring error, correct wiring: When an alarm is triggered, the terminal with "X" is positive
The circuit impedance exceeds the standard. If the cable is too long or there are too many T-taps, the measured impedance should be>500k Ω (open circuit) and<50 Ω (short circuit)
3. Built in testing tools
SLC device locator: causes the LED of the specified address device to flash for easy on-site identification
SLC multi-point locator: flashes the LED of up to 8 devices simultaneously
I/O point control: manually triggering input points or activating output points for testing mapping configurations
