Honeywell Fixed Gas and Flame Detection Product Features

Core product system and classification

Honeywell's industrial fixed gas and flame detection products cover three core areas: gas detection, flame detection, and control equipment. The products are divided into multiple series according to application scenarios, detection principles, and functional characteristics, and are suitable for hazardous environment monitoring in multiple industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, warehousing, and automotive manufacturing.


Gas detection products

Explosion proof transmitter

XNX ™  Universal Transmitter: Supports various sensors such as catalytic beads, infrared, and electrochemical sensors, with 4-20mA+HART standard output, optional Modbus and Foundation Fieldbus communication, and supports 3-channel relay output. Adopting aluminum alloy or stainless steel shell, IP66 protection level, suitable for Class I Div 1/Zone 1 hazardous areas, compatible with major global certifications (UL, ATEX, IECEx, etc.).

Sensepoint series

Sensepoint XCD: detects flammable gases (catalytic/infrared), toxic gases, and oxygen, 3-wire 4-20mA output+RS485 Modbus communication, built-in 3-channel relay, non-invasive magnetic switch operation, aluminum alloy or stainless steel housing, IP66 protection, working temperature from -40 ℃ to+65 ℃.

Sensepoint XCD RFD: Designed for remote installation of flammable gas sensors, the sensor can be up to 30 meters away from the transmitter, compatible with high-temperature sensors (up to 150 ℃), supports Modbus communication, and is suitable for scenarios such as gas turbine nacelles and high-temperature ovens.

Sensepoint XRL: a fixed detector with Bluetooth function, supporting Android device configuration, detecting toxic gases, oxygen and methane, 4-20mA or Modbus output, winning the Red Dot Design Award, easy to install and maintain.

Series 3000 MkII/MkIII: For toxic gas and oxygen monitoring, MkII is equipped with a flameproof shell and MkIII needs to be used with a safety barrier for Zone 0 area. It supports remote sensor installation (up to 15 meters away) and has a low-power design suitable for new installation and renovation projects.

Infrared transmitter

Searchpoint Optima Plus: an infrared combustible gas detector that detects hydrocarbon gases such as methane and propane. It has a fast response time (T90<30 seconds), strong anti poisoning ability, 316 stainless steel shell, IP66/67 protection, and is suitable for high pollution and high humidity environments.

Searchline Excel: Open circuit infrared gas detector, with short (5-40 meters), medium (40-120 meters), and long (120-200 meters) ranges, capable of detecting combustible gas leaks in large areas. It has strong anti-interference ability and is suitable for monitoring in open factory areas and along pipelines.

Other gas detectors

705 Combustible Gas Sensor: Low cost explosion-proof catalytic bead sensor, anti poisoning design, 5-year warranty, suitable for combustible gas detection in Class I Div 1 area.

RAEGuard 2 PID: Photoionization detector, detecting VOCs (0.01-1000ppm), sensor module can be replaced on site, supports 4-20mA and Modbus output, suitable for laboratory, painting workshop and other scenarios.

Midas ®  Extractive Gas Detector: an extraction based detection system that can detect more than 40 types of gases such as AsH ∝, H ₂ S, NF ∝, etc. It supports PoE power supply, Modbus/TCP Ethernet output, built-in relays, and is suitable for the semiconductor and specialty chemical industries.


Flame detection products

FSX series

FS24X: Four band infrared flame detector (IR/IR/IR/Visible), 110 ° field of view, detection distance over 200 feet, strong anti false alarm ability, supports HART and Modbus communication, suitable for hydrocarbon and non hydrocarbon fire detection.

FS20X: UV/dual infrared/visible multispectral detector, 90 ° field of view, fast detection speed, anti arc welding interference, suitable for painting workshops, gas stations and other scenarios.

FS10: Designed specifically for liquid spraying and powder coating, with two-level response (warning+alarm), compliant with NFPA 33 standard, quickly cuts off the electrostatic spraying process, and prevents the spread of fire.

SS series

SS4 series: UV/IR flame detector, 120 ° field of view, detection distance of 60 feet, suitable for Class I Div 1 area, supports HART protocol, and is resistant to environmental interference.

SS2-AM series: High speed ultraviolet/infrared detector, 120 ° field of view, response time<500ms, suitable for rapid fire response in high-risk areas.
