Diode detection: When using FADEC 3, it is necessary to pay attention to the polarity of the probe. The red probe (+) must be connected to the anode of the diode, and the black probe (-) must be connected to the cathode. If the FADEC 3 red light lights up and beeps, it indicates an internal short circuit in the semiconductor and needs to be replaced.
Alternative solution for multimeter: If FADEC 3 is not available on site, the diode test mode of the multimeter can be used. Under normal circumstances, the forward voltage drop of the diode is about 0.22V. Key note: Since the diodes in each phase are connected in parallel (such as V11C | | V21C | | V31C), if one of them breaks down, the multimeter will display that all diodes in the parallel group are abnormal. At this point, it is necessary to investigate one by one, and in the worst case, the entire set of three diodes needs to be replaced in order to find the real faulty component.

Power module replacement: standardized use of stacking release and expansion tools
The power semiconductor of PCS6000 is tightly pressed into the heat sink stack to ensure good thermal conductivity and electrical contact. When replacing IGCT or diodes, special tools must be used to release stack pressure and re tighten precisely after replacement.
1. The "forbidden zone" released by stacking
The pressure gauge must be fully inserted: Before loosening the clamping screw, the three U-shaped pressure gauges (pressure loading gauges) must be removed from their storage position and fully inserted under the tensioning jack. If not fully inserted, forcibly releasing it will damage the tensioning jack.
Release sequence: The clamping screws must be loosened in the order of "neutral point/clamp diode stack → freewheeling diode stack → IGCT stack". When disassembling, use a 12mm hexagonal socket to rotate counterclockwise until the screw is completely detached from the pressure plate.
The use of the spreading tool: Insert the spreading tool horizontally into the heat sink groove above and below the faulty semiconductor, support it with your hand, and then use a 13mm wrench to rotate the middle rod to slowly open the heat sink. Attention: Do not overexert, keep at least 3mm of gear engagement. For neutral point diodes, the expansion tool needs to cross three heat sinks.
2. Practical points for IGCT replacement
Unplug the fiber optic and power cables of the faulty IGCT and the IGCT directly above it.
Remove the door pole unit fasteners on both sides, being careful not to drop the nuts at the bottom.
When extracting the old IGCT, only hold the black plastic frame and support it from below. It is strictly prohibited to touch the gate drive board or semiconductor surface.
When inserting a new IGCT, push it along the guide rail until you hear a "click" sound, confirming that the positioning stop device has been engaged in the guide rail.
Contact surface cleaning: Clean the IGCT contact surface with a lint free cloth, and strictly prohibit the use of any grease or conductive paste.
After the replacement is completed, the stacking alignment must be checked. Use a one meter long ruler or level to lean against the side of the radiator and visually inspect whether the radiator slot is aligned. If not aligned, loosen the flexible busbar (M12 bolt) on the side of the radiator and manually push the radiator back to the correct position.
3. Re tighten and inspect
The tightening sequence is opposite to the loosening sequence: IGCT stack → freewheeling diode stack → neutral point/clamp diode stack.
Tighten the clamping screw until the pressure gauge can be removed and the contact surface is level.
Return the pressure gauge to its storage position and secure it with M12 screws.
Finally, use a 5mm hex wrench to tighten the 24 screws securing the door pole unit.
Control board and auxiliary system replacement strategy
1. AC 800PEC and PECINTM replacement
Before replacement, turn off MCB-Q306 or - Q401 to cut off the 24V power supply, and turn the "Bat. Select" switch of the UPS to "Service" and then back to interrupt the battery power supply (yellow LED off).
When dismantling the module on the DIN rail, first loosen the two screws, push the spring mechanism upwards, and then tilt it forward to remove it.
The new module must have the same hardware configuration and software version as the original module. After replacement, the identification code on the nameplate must be checked.
2. Battery and UPS
The UPS battery of PCS6000 (3.4Ah in CCU and 7.2Ah in POU) is a vulnerable component. When replacing, first unplug the car fuse on the side of the battery, disconnect the positive and negative connections of the battery on the UPS, and then remove the installation screws.
The new battery is charged when it leaves the factory, but the expiration date label on the battery must be checked. It is strictly prohibited to use expired batteries.
3. On site fabrication of fiber optic cables
PCS6000 extensively uses plastic optical fibers internally. If the fiber optic is damaged, a fiber optic polishing kit can be used for on-site production.
