Use the 16th wire stripping pliers to strip off about 7mm of the outer skin, and push the connector in until it is blocked by the outer skin (the fiber optic extension should not exceed 1.5mm).
Polish in an "8-shaped" pattern on 600 grit sandpaper until the connector is flush with the bottom of the polishing fixture. Then switch to a 3 μ m grinding film and continue polishing for about 25 times until the fiber end face is flat and smooth.
Cooling system maintenance: the lifeline of water-cooled units
The PCS6000 adopts a closed-loop water cooling system, and the conductivity and flow rate of the coolant are the focus of monitoring.
Conductivity: must be below 0.5 μ S/cm. If the conductivity is too high, it can cause an increase in leakage current and even trigger discharge. The ion exchange vessel needs to be replaced regularly. After replacement, the water pump needs to be run for about 30 minutes to flush the new resin, and then the water filter needs to be replaced.
Pressure and liquid level: Regularly check the pressure and liquid level of the expansion vessel. When replacing the expansion tank, first close valve V56, disconnect the coolant hose, and remove the old tank. After installing the new tank, the valve core must be pressed to zero the air pressure before opening the V56 valve.
Water pump replacement: The water pump weighs approximately 125kg and must be replaced using a dedicated pump maintenance platform (3BHE039649R0001) and chain pulley (3BHS032038R0001). Before disassembly, close the inlet and outlet valves of the water pump, drain the coolant inside the pump, and then remove the supporting bolts and flanges.
Preventive maintenance: preventing problems before they arise
The preventive maintenance of PCS6000 is not just about "wiping dust", but also includes:
Torque marking inspection: Regularly visually inspect whether the torque marking line on the busbar bolts is misaligned. If it is misaligned, a torque wrench must be used to tighten it again according to the standard value (such as 40 Nm for M12 busbar connection and 60 Nm for other connections).
DC bus performance test: Charge the DC bus to ± 500V through the HMI testing module and record the time it takes to discharge to ± 200V. If the discharge time deviation exceeds 10%, further measurement of the capacitance value is required.
Insulation test: Use a 2500V DC insulation tester (such as METRISO 5000) to measure phase to phase and ground insulation. Before testing, all power terminals must be short circuited, the grounding connection (such as R544.2 for HFM, C461.2 for NCM, etc.) must be disconnected, and the cooling water conductivity must be ensured to be below 0.5 μ S/cm.
