ABB TM258 LD42DT Instructions

The TM258 LD42DT and TM258 LF42DT programmable controllers consist of the following parts:

Display unit with:

4 controller status leds (RUN/MS BATTERY, APP0 and APP1) 6 built-in communication port status leds (Eth LA, Eth ST, Eth NS, USB Host, MBS COM, CAN 0 STS)

2. Latch for mounting/unloading on symmetric guide rails

3. 24 Vc power module with pluggable terminal and latch, display block and label slot

4. I/O modules, each with a latched, pluggable terminal, display block to display I/O status, and label holder slot

5. Pluggable terminal with lock/release latch

6. Bus extension connector on the side for connecting the next module

7.RTC (Real-Time clock) battery slot

8. Connect the USB-A connector (marked Host) of A USB memory card for transferring programs, data, or firmware updates

9. USB-B miniature connector for connecting programming computers (labeled Pgr Port)

10. RJ45 connectors (labeled Ethernet) for connecting Ethernet and/or Magelis XBT GT graphics terminals

11. RJ45 connectors for connecting RS232 or RS485 serial links (labeled MBS)

12.9 Core male SUB-D connector, labeled CAN0, used to connect the CANopen bus
