Basler DECS-200-1L Digital Excitation Control System

The Basler DECS-200-1L is a fully digital excitation control system designed for synchronous generators in industrial, marine, and utility power applications. This advanced controller provides automatic voltage regulation (AVR), power system stabilizer (PSS), and comprehensive limiter and protection functions in a single, compact unit. The DECS-200-1L is engineered to deliver precise voltage control, fast transient response, and reliable operation under varying grid and load conditions.

The system features a high-performance 32-bit processor with advanced control algorithms, ensuring stable generator operation even during severe system disturbances. It includes a user-friendly front panel with a backlit LCD display and keypad for local configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics. AC voltage sensing inputs should be connected to the generator potential transformers (PTs) or directly to the generator terminals if within the sensing range.
