Basler Electric DECS125‑15 – Digital Excitation Control System with Power Module
The Basler Electric DECS125‑15 is a complete digital excitation control system that includes both the control logic and the power output stage in a single integrated package. This unit provides precise voltage regulation for synchronous generators, with a built‑in power module that eliminates the need for external excitation power components, simplifying installation and reducing panel space.
Integrated Design
The DECS125‑15 combines the controller and power module in one housing, providing a complete excitation solution for generators up to approximately 3 MW. The integrated design reduces wiring complexity and improves system reliability.
Voltage Regulation
Provides AVR with ±0.5% accuracy and fast dynamic response.
Excitation Output
125 V DC at 15 A continuous, with 200% short‑term capability.
Protection and Communication
Includes UEL/OEL, V/Hz limiting, loss‑of‑sensing, and Modbus communication.
Typical Applications
Diesel and gas gensets, hydro turbines, and standby power systems.
