The GE TPR5616NRHC is a sophisticated protection relay designed for transformer and power system applications. Transformer Protection Features

The TPR5616NRHC provides comprehensive protection specifically designed for power transformers. Differential protection with harmonic restraint prevents false tripping during transformer energization and inrush conditions. The relay supports both two-winding and three-winding transformer configurations with flexible CT ratio matching and vector group compensation. Thermal overload protection models transformer heating based on load current and ambient temperature. Sudden pressure input enables rapid fault detection for internal transformer faults.
