Device compatibility:
The Service Interface supports configuration and firmware updates for IFM (Modbus SL interface), IFE (Ethernet interface), IFE distribution panel servers, IO modules, FDM121 displays, and BSCM circuit breaker status control modules.
Configuration process:
After connecting to the Enerlin'X device through ULP cables, engineers can use EPC software for parameter configuration, network settings, and firmware upgrades. For devices that support ULP protocol, the software can intuitively display device status, firmware version compatibility, and communication test results.
Firmware updates and network security:
The firmware update process of Service Interface is fully integrated into the EPC software. More importantly, Schneider Electric emphasizes the importance of network security. All firmware used for MasterPact and ComPacT IMU design is digitally signed using Schneider Public Key Infrastructure. The software will automatically check the validity of the digital certificate and remind the user when the certificate expires. To prevent network attacks, the guidelines recommend that users change their default password, disable unused ports and services, and adopt a multi-layered network defense strategy upon first use. In addition, the device also meets the Green Premium eco label requirements, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable development.
