WAGO 750 Series I/O Modules

The WAGO 750 series is a modular I/O system for distributed automation, featuring a fieldbus coupler or controller and a variety of digital and analog input/output modules. This selection includes the 750-842 programmable controller, 750-530 digital input module, 750-430 analog input module, 750-602 digital output module, 750-514 analog output module, and the 750-600 power supply module. Together they form a complete control node for industrial applications.

750-842 Programmable Controller

The 750-842 is an Ethernet programmable controller (PLC) with an integrated 2-port switch for daisy-chaining. It supports MODBUS/TCP, EtherNet/IP, and standard TCP/IP protocols. The controller is programmed using WAGO-I/O-PRO or CoDeSys (IEC 61131-3). It features 256 MB RAM, 512 MB flash, and an SD card slot for program storage. Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C. It includes a real-time clock and webserver for configuration.


750-530 Digital Input Module

The 750-530 is a 8-channel digital input module for 24V DC (type 3) sensors. Each channel has a 3ms input filter and is electrically isolated from the system bus by 500V. LEDs indicate signal status. The module supports positive switching (sink) and negative switching (source) configurations. Input current per channel: typ. 2.5 mA. The 8 channels are grouped into 1 group of 8 with common power supply. It operates from -20°C to +60°C and mounts on DIN 35 rail.

750-430 Analog Input Module

The 750-430 is a 4-channel analog input module for standard signals: 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, or 0-10V (differential). Resolution is 12 bits. Each channel is configurable via software. The module has a 500V system/field isolation. Measurement accuracy is 0.5% of full scale. It includes diagnostics for wire break (4-20mA mode) and overrange. Common mode voltage up to 35V. Update time is 3 ms per channel (sequential). The 4 channels share a common return.

750-602 Digital Output Module

The 750-602 is a 2-channel digital output module with 24V DC, 0.5A per channel. Outputs are transistor (high-side) with short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown. Switching frequency is 1 kHz maximum. Each channel has an LED status indicator. Loads include solenoids, relays, and indicator lights. The outputs are grouped in one isolated group. Output voltage drop is less than 1V at 0.5A. The module supports 500V isolation and operates at -20°C to +60°C.

750-514 Analog Output Module

The 750-514 is a 2-channel analog output module, configurable for 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, or 0-10V output. Resolution is 12 bits. Each channel can drive loads up to 600Ω for current output or minimum 1kΩ for voltage output. Accuracy is 0.5% of full scale. The outputs are updated simultaneously. The module includes diagnostics for overload and short circuit. Isolation is 500V. It requires an external 24V supply for the field side.

750-600 Power Supply Module

The 750-600 is an end module and supply module for the 750 series. It provides 24V DC power to the field side of subsequent I/O modules. It includes a jumper contact to pass through the system supply (5V) and field supply (24V). The module has LED indicators for field power status. It occupies one slot and is required at the end of a field supply segment. Input is 24V DC (20.4-28.8V) with fuse protection (internal resettable).

System Integration

All 750 series modules connect via the WAGO bus (internal serial interface) and snap onto a DIN rail using the WAGO Cage Clamp termination system. The fieldbus coupler or controller (e.g., 750-842) communicates with a higher-level PLC or SCADA. Up to 64 modules can be attached to one coupler/controller. Configuration is performed via WAGO-I/O-CHECK software. The system supports hot swapping of some modules.


Applications

This combination of modules is suitable for building automation, process control, machine control, and energy management. Typical uses: digital inputs from sensors and switches (750-530), analog inputs from pressure/flow transmitters (750-430), digital outputs to actuators (750-602), analog outputs to valve positioners or VFDs (750-514), all managed by a programmable controller (750-842) with local power (750-600).

Environmental and Certifications

Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C (all modules). Storage: -40°C to +85°C. Humidity: 95% non-condensing. Certifications include CE, UL (listed), ATEX/IECEx for hazardous locations (Zone 2), and marine (DNV GL) for some modules. All modules meet RoHS and REACH compliance.
