Product Overview

The ABB Pluto S20 V2 CFS is a programmable safety controller from ABB's Pluto series, designed for implementing safety functions in industrial machinery. Functional Description

The Pluto S20 V2 CFS continuously executes the safety logic program stored in its non-volatile memory. Inputs are read, the function block diagram is evaluated, and outputs are updated. The test pulse outputs are used to detect short circuits and cross faults on input wiring. The safety outputs are monitored internally for faults; if a failure is detected, the controller enters a safe state.
