The MTL 8715-CA-BI is a HART transparent isolator and Profibus DP Bus Interface Module (BIM) for the MTL8000 Series intrinsically safe I/O system. It serves as the communication gateway between MTL8000 Series I/O nodes and a Profibus DP master controller, providing bidirectional HART communication for remote configuration and diagnostics of smart field instruments located in hazardous areas.
