Product Overview

The Mitsubishi GT2310-VTBA (and GT2310-VTBD) is a 10.4-inch TFT color touch screen human-machine interface (HMI) belonging to the GOT2000 series of operator interfaces. This panel provides high-visibility display and intuitive touch control for industrial automation systems. The VTBA variant typically includes a built-in serial communication port (RS-232/422/485) and an Ethernet port, while the VTBD model may have additional fieldbus options or different power supply (24 V DC). Both models feature a 640 x 480 pixel (VGA) resolution with 65,536 colors, offering clear representation of machine status, production data, and alarm lists. Functional Description

The GT2310-VTBA communicates with the PLC using Ethernet or serial connection, reading and writing device values in real time. The screen pages (created in GT Works3) contain graphical elements linked to PLC addresses. When an operator touches a button, the HMI writes a value to the PLC, triggering a control action. The built-in data logging function records trends and event logs to internal memory or SD card, which can be retrieved via USB or FTP. Alarm lists show time-stamped fault messages. The web server allows remote monitoring via a standard browser. The USB port can be used to upload screen data without a PC.
