The Pilz 773600 is a digital input module belonging to the PNOZsigma range of safety automation products. Designed to interface safety devices such as emergency stop pushbuttons, safety switches, light curtains, and two-hand controls with a safety logic system, this module provides reliable signal acquisition for critical machine functions. It supports up to 8 safety inputs, configurable for dual-channel operation and cross-circuit monitoring.

Technical Overview

The module operates on 24V DC (SELV/PELV) power supply. Each input channel is tested for short circuits and cross faults, achieving high diagnostic coverage (DC avg > 99%) as required by ISO 13849-1 up to PL e and SIL CL 3 per IEC 62061. The 773600 communicates via the PNOZsigma backplane bus with a base unit or configurable safety controller, allowing seamless expansion of safety I/O.
