Functional Description

The Micrologic 5.2A trip unit continuously monitors current through built-in current transformers. For overload conditions (long-time), it uses an I²t algorithm to trip inversely with current magnitude. For short-circuit conditions, the short-time function provides a time-delayed trip for selective coordination with downstream breakers. Instantaneous protection trips without delay for very high currents. The I-Line connection allows quick installation and removal without tools, simplifying panel assembly and replacement. The breaker visually indicates the trip condition with a center-positioned handle and a red trip indicator.
