Working principle
Data input: Operators input commands or data through the keyboard, which is first received by the keyboard interface circuit, encoded and processed, and then transmitted to the central processing unit (CPU) of the device. For touch screen operation, when a finger touches the screen, the resistive film on the screen surface will generate voltage changes. The touch screen controller converts this change into coordinate information, which is also transmitted to the CPU.
Data processing and display: The CPU analyzes and processes the received data, reads relevant data from the device's memory or external storage device according to preset program logic, and transmits the processing results to the video controller. The video controller converts data into image signals and presents them to the operator through a display. For example, when the operator queries the real-time temperature of the device, the CPU reads the data from the storage address corresponding to the temperature sensor, and after processing, the temperature value is displayed on the screen by the video controller.
Control instruction output: If the operator inputs a control instruction, such as starting a certain device, the CPU will process the instruction and send the control signal to the executing mechanism in the industrial control system through the corresponding interface circuit, such as relays, contactors, etc., to achieve control of the device. At the same time, the device will provide feedback on the execution results to the CPU and display them on the screen for the operator to confirm.
Network communication: Devices can communicate with other devices or systems through the onboard Ethernet interface. When data interaction with the upper computer is required, the device packages the locally collected data into network packets and sends them out through Ethernet; At the same time, it can also receive instructions and data sent by the upper computer and process them accordingly.
