7.4 Isolation DIO No Response

Confirmation: Is the DIO expansion module optional (standard version without DIO)? If so, check the external power supply (DIO requires external 24V supply).

Software: After calling GPIO-INnit, reading GPI-Read and returning NoError (0) indicates normal operation. If Error DeviceIotl is returned, it is necessary to check whether the IO driver is installed.

7.5 Ethernet disconnection or unstable speed

Reason: Network cable quality, switch negotiation mode.

Optimization: Disable "Energy Efficient Ethernet" in BIOS (in Network Configuration) and force 1000M full duplex; Check if the driver has enabled Jumbo Frame and matches the switch.

Maintenance and long-term stability recommendations

Clean the heat sink: Blow the side and top heat sinks with compressed air every six months to prevent dust accumulation and reduce heat dissipation efficiency.

Regularly check the battery: The CR2032 lithium battery on the motherboard maintains CMOS and RTC, with a lifespan of about 5 years. If there is a time reset or BIOS settings loss, replace it in a timely manner (pay attention to the battery model, reset it after replacement).

Firmware upgrade: ADLINK periodically releases BIOS and SEMA updates, which can be downloaded from the official website. Before upgrading, backup the current configuration.

Log monitoring: Use SEMA Cloud to remotely view temperature, voltage, and operating time, and predict fault risks (such as voltage fluctuations caused by power aging).
