Product Overview and Market Positioning

Siemens 5SN series terminal power distribution products are high-performance solutions for modern building electrical systems, designed specifically for real estate developers, civil buildings, industrial buildings, and commercial buildings. This series of products adheres to Siemens' consistent spirit of innovation and quality assurance, using advanced product technology and manufacturing processes to fully meet users' increasing demands for power safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.

With the rapid development of society, the demand for electricity and the quality of electricity consumption in buildings have significantly increased, and various new types of electrical appliances and applications continue to emerge. The 5SN series has emerged as the preferred product in the field of terminal power distribution due to its multiple advantages such as energy saving, safety, efficiency, and compactness. Core products and technological advantages

1. 5SN miniature circuit breaker (MCB)

The 5SN series miniature circuit breaker is the core component of terminal distribution, with excellent electrical performance and mechanical durability. The product shell is made of excellent flame-retardant thermosetting BMC material, with a breaking capacity covering two specifications of 6kA and 10kA. The rated current ranges from 6A to 63A, and the number of poles includes 1P, 1P+N, 2P, 3P, 3P+N, and 4P. The trip curve covers three types: B, C, and D, meeting the protection requirements of different load characteristics.

The main features include:

Dustproof and finger touch resistant design: The insulation structure significantly improves product lifespan and minimizes the risk of electric shock.

Sliding buckle design: makes installation and disassembly easier and faster, improving construction efficiency.

Energy saving and efficiency improvement: The measured power consumption is only 1/3 to 1/2 of the IEC and national standard definition values, effectively reducing operating energy consumption.

Compact structure: Especially the 5SN30/5SN60 compact products, with a width of only 18mm (1 module), greatly saving space in the distribution box.

2. Residual current protection device (RCBO/RCD)

The 5SU9 and 5SV9 series residual current protection circuit breakers adopt an integrated design, with breaking capacities of 4.5kA and 6kA, and have two types of protection: AC and A, which can detect sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual currents. Among them, the 5SV9 compact product has a width of only 18mm, achieving comprehensive electric shock protection in a limited space.

The 5SM9 and 5SM2 residual current protection modules can be quickly assembled with the 5SN4 series circuit breakers without the need for additional tools. They provide multiple operating current specifications such as 30mA, 100mA, and 300mA, making them suitable for personal safety protection and fire protection.

3. Isolation switch and surge protector

The 5TL1 isolation switch is suitable for current levels of 32A, 63A, and 100A, with high segmentation capability and good electrical isolation performance, and is suitable for safe isolation operations in distribution systems.

The 5SD74 series surge protectors (SPDs) belong to Class II (Class C) protection products and are suitable for TN-S and TT power grid systems. They can effectively suppress lightning strikes and operational overvoltages, and protect the safety of backend equipment. Its plug-in design facilitates maintenance and replacement, and has remote fault indication function.

4. Self recovery overvoltage and undervoltage protector (OUPA)

The 5TT5 series self recovering overvoltage and undervoltage protector complies with JB/T 12762-2015 standard and can automatically cut off the circuit when the system voltage is abnormal, and automatically reclose after the voltage returns to normal. The product has multiple functions such as locking, emergency power supply, and status monitoring, significantly improving power supply continuity and safety.

5. Accessories and Distribution Box System

The 5SN series offers a wide range of accessory options, including auxiliary contacts, fault signal contacts, shunt/undervoltage/overvoltage release devices, busbars, locking devices, etc., which can achieve various functions such as signal feedback, remote control, mechanical interlocking, etc.

The SIMBOX series distribution box offers various models such as PS (plastic cover), MB (metal cover), 63 (multi row structure), etc., supporting concealed and exposed installation.
