Safety and Usage Guidelines
6.1 Safety Regulations
Follow the requirements of EN 60204-1 regarding safety protection measures (such as emergency stop, dual hand control, etc.).
It is strictly prohibited to directly drive the actuator: it is not allowed to use the operation panel to directly control motors, valves, etc. that are not equipped with safety protection, in order to prevent personnel or equipment from being endangered in case of equipment failure.
Static electricity protection: Maintenance personnel need to release static electricity when coming into contact with energized units.
Do not open the back cover with electricity: It is strictly prohibited to open the back cover when powered on.
6.2 Environmental Requirements
Avoid direct sunlight: accelerate the aging of the front panel film.
Stay away from corrosive substances: Before installation, the front panel should be tested for its resistance to specific chemicals.
Do not use tools to operate the touch screen: to avoid damaging the surface.

Introduction to Software and Programming
7.1 Programming software
The UniOP panel requires programming using Designer 6 software. The software runs on the Windows environment and supports over 150 communication drivers, providing features such as vector graphics, multi language, and macro commands.
7.2 Connections and Parameters
Connection method: Connect the COM1 or COM2 port of the PC through CA2/CA114 cable.
Communication parameters: 9600 baud (partially supports 19200/38400), no checksum, 1-bit stop bit.
Enter configuration mode:
Keyed model: After shutting down, press and hold any three keys until "Configuration Mode" is displayed when turning on.
Keyless models (such as ECT-16): After shutting down, touch the middle left side of the screen with your left hand, and then click on the right side of the screen with your right hand at approximately 1-second intervals until entering configuration mode.
7.3 Command Overview
Configuration mode:
ENTER: Display the communication driver version.
ENTER (2 seconds): Return to run mode (requires valid items).
Operation mode:
Direction keys: flip pages, move cursor.
ENTER: Enter data input mode.
PRIMT/CLEAR: Print page/Unprint.
Direct: Enter direct access mode.
PASSWORD: Enter password input mode.
DATE/TIME: Enter the date and time settings.
Command menu: Select with arrow keys, confirm with ENTER.
System menu: Select with directional keys, confirm with ENTER, or return to page mode.
Troubleshooting and Touch Screen Calibration
8.1 Problem Handling during Startup
If unable to enter configuration mode, you can try forcibly starting:
Turn off the power.
Press and hold any three keys (use the touch method mentioned above for keyless models).
Turn on the power and hold it until the screen displays the configuration mode.
8.2 Touch screen calibration
Standard calibration:
Enter configuration mode.
Long press the CLEAR key on the screen until a circular symbol appears in the upper right corner.
Press and hold the symbol until it moves to the bottom left corner.
According to the on-screen prompts, press and hold the ←, ↓, and ENTER keys in sequence until you return to the running mode (if the item is valid).
Emergency calibration (when standard calibration cannot be initiated):
Turn off the power.
Turn on the power and click on the center of the screen at approximately 1-second intervals until entering calibration mode.
Follow the standard calibration steps.
