The Honeywell 621-0020, also referenced as 30756380-001, is a universal analog input module designed for use with Honeywell control systems. It provides high-precision signal acquisition for various field sensors and transmitters, making it suitable for process automation and discrete manufacturing.
Number of channels: 8 isolated inputs
Input types: 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, 0-10V, ±10V, thermocouple (J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N), RTD (Pt100, Ni100)
Resolution: 16 bits (0.003% of full scale)
Accuracy: ±0.1% of reading at 25°C
Sampling rate: 100 Hz per channel (max)
Common mode rejection: >120 dB at 50/60 Hz
Each input channel is galvanically isolated from the system bus and from each other (1500 Vrms). The module includes overvoltage protection up to ±30V on voltage inputs and up to 50mA on current inputs. Reverse polarity protection is provided for current loops.
The module can be configured via software or DIP switches for each channel independently (input type, range, filtering). Onboard LEDs indicate power, communication status, and per-channel overrange/failure. The module supports autocalibration to compensate for temperature drift.
The 621-0020 interfaces with the host controller via a parallel backplane bus (proprietary Honeywell protocol) or optional RS-485 Modbus RTU. Data is transmitted as 16-bit signed integers with scaling parameters defined in the configuration.

Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C; storage: -40°C to +85°C; humidity: 5-95% non-condensing. The module is rated IP20 and conforms to IEC 61131-2 for industrial control equipment. It is CE and UL listed.
Dimensions: 125mm x 90mm x 40mm; weight: 180g. Mounting: DIN rail 35mm or panel screw. Terminal blocks are removable for easy wiring (screw clamp, wire size 0.2-2.5mm²).
The Honeywell 621-0020 is used for monitoring temperature, pressure, flow, level, and other process variables in oil & gas, chemical plants, water treatment, and HVAC systems. Its universal input capability reduces spare part inventory.
This module is compatible with Honeywell HC900, PlantScape, and Experion PKS systems when used with appropriate I/O racks (e.g., 621-0000 series). For third-party systems, the Modbus RTU variant can be used as a stand-alone remote I/O.
Ensure proper grounding of the DIN rail to avoid ground loops. Use shielded cables for analog signals and connect the shield to the dedicated ground terminal on the module. Do not exceed input voltage/current limits.
The Honeywell 621-0020 universal analog input module delivers flexibility, accuracy, and robustness for demanding analog signal acquisition, simplifying system design and maintenance.
