The Mitsubishi LE-40MTA-E is a dedicated tension controller designed for closed-loop control of web tension in unwinding, rewinding, and intermediate processing lines. It features PID regulation with multiple feedback options and provides analog output for driving magnetic particle brakes/clutches or torque control of AC/DC drives.

RS-485 Modbus RTU (optional LE-40MTA-E/485). Supports baud rates up to 38400. Parameters can be monitored and changed via Modbus master (PLC or SCADA).
Printing presses, laminators, slitter rewinders, coating machines, and textile processing lines. The LE-40MTA-E is commonly paired with Mitsubishi dancer rollers or magnetic particle brakes from various manufacturers.
Autotune function automatically calculates optimal PID gains for the mechanical system. Manual tuning also available. Parameter storage in EEPROM (no battery required).
