The Omron NS8-TV00B-V2 and NS8-TV00B-ECV2 are members of the NS8 series of programmable terminals (HMI). These devices provide a 8.4‑inch TFT color display with high resolution and a touch‑sensitive interface for machine monitoring, control, and data entry. The NS8 series is known for its long‑life LED backlight, multiple communication ports (including Ethernet on the ECV2 variant), and robust construction suitable for demanding factory environments. The NS8‑TV00B‑V2 and ECV2 units serve as the operator interface for a wide range of automation equipment. The ECV2 adds Ethernet connectivity, enabling remote monitoring and control from a central SCADA system. The USB host port allows data logging to a USB memory stick, recipe upload/download, and screen backup. The built‑in ladder monitor allows viewing and editing of certain PLC logic directly from the HMI without a programming computer.

Programming and Software
