The Siemens 6SL3210-1KE21-3UP1 is a compact frequency converter from the SINAMICS G120C series. It is designed for simple, space‑saving installation in machine and plant engineering. This unit provides a power rating of 5.5 kW (7.5 HP) for three‑phase 380–480V AC motors. It features an integrated PROFINET interface (2‑port switch) for communication with industrial networks and includes built‑in safety functions (Safe Torque Off – STO). An additional relay output (30V DC/250V AC, 2A) is available. All I/Os are electrically isolated. The built‑in PID controller can be used for pressure, flow, or temperature regulation.

Operation and Commissioning

Mount the drive vertically on a flat, non‑combustible surface. Maintain 100mm clearance above and below for airflow. Connect the mains supply to L1, L2, L3 and the motor to U, V, W. Use shielded motor cables and ground the shield at both ends. Connect the control terminals using 0.5‑1.5 mm² wire.
