Dirt road
My hometown is a quiet and beautiful small village in Bahe Town. Where the terrain is flat, the fields are fertile, and a small river flows into the gate of the Qing Dynasty's top scholar Chen Hang described the Wangtian Lake of "thousands of people cast nets on the day and thousands of lights on the night." The only drawback is the lack of traffic, a winding, bumpy yellow dirt road is the main road to the outside. "Sunny a piece of copper, rain a bag of pus" image reflects the situation of the way out.
At that time, the "difficult road" was the most troublesome thing for the villagers. People who live there for a long time are always "gray on sunny days, mud on rainy days," and the clean clothes they have just changed will soon be dirty. As long as there are a few sunny days in a row, the road will be covered with dust, and the cars will run by and the dust will fly. If in a heavy rain, a foot down, the soles will be covered with mud, thick and heavy; The bicycle went up, the wheel quickly became thick and swollen, was mud card dead, this time must find a stick to clear the mud on the wheel, no way had to carry the bicycle to a slightly better section and then ride.
When I was in elementary school and junior high school, what I hated most was rainy days. A rain, dirt road like glutinous rice flour and warm water, become soft mud, every step, shoes will sink into the mud and not move legs, every step, I have to squat down to pull the shoes out with my hand, put a big step forward, step on, and then to pull another shoe, not a step is really not exaggerated at that time.
Gravel road
In the 1990s, the dirt road was paved with a layer of fine bone stone, transformed into a gravel road. The gravel road was smoother and wider, and I was delighted. But the good times are not long, the sand can not withstand the baptism of wind, frost, rain and snow, not a few years, the sand and stone road was played back to the "original shape", the sand and stone below, the bumpy dirt road looming. The gravel road did not fundamentally solve people's "difficult road", and the villagers still complained.
"Small holes are often filled with water, and big ones can contain oxen." In those years, tractors and big trucks made the most of the roads. Sometimes the tractor filled with yellow sand, red bricks and other materials on the way to break down, black smoke, skidding on the road, the front two wheels in the road left two and a half wheel deep pit, climb out of the pit will take a lot of effort. A big truck or tractor pulling goods will slip into a pit if it is not careful, just like walking barefoot into a tribulus nest - a dilemma. The driver had to ask the nearby villagers to help, the villagers to find a stone or straw mat in the pit, Shouting "one two three" number, pulling the car from the pit after the push to "save" out.
At that time, walking a good road became a luxury. The bus ride is inconvenient because the road is not good. In 1992, when I was studying at Zema High School, I went home once a month. Every time I return to school, I have to get up early to catch the passenger bus that has only two trips a day, shake all the way to the passenger station in the county, and then buy a ticket to the horse washing bus, and shake all the way back and forth, like a swing, and finally reach the horse washing Street, but also have to walk a little way to school, most of the precious time spent on the road. On one occasion, returning home from the county seat, the bus was bumping like a drunk on the road, and the car suddenly stalled. The driver was repaired for most of the day. Twenty or thirty people had to walk home. I walked more than 20 miles to get home. It was dark.
After work, one Spring Festival, I took my wife and daughter happily back to my hometown for the New Year. When the bus went to the village near Zhao Ao, encountered traffic jams, waiting for more than two hours, or did not clear. So, in the snow, I carried my two-year-old daughter and walked home with an umbrella. Wife carrying bags and bags, braving wind and snow. Stumbling all the way, a deep foot, a shallow foot, home, a family of three in distress. At that time, how I wish I could have a decent road to go!
Concrete road
In the new century, the gravel road in my hometown became a white cement road. Cement road wide flat, solid wear-resistant, less dust, driving is also safe.
"The road is the soul of the car, and the car is the scene of the road." The road is good, the car is also more, the size of trucks, buses, farm tricycles, private cars and so on from the road raced past, like a flow of pictures, converge into a beautiful landscape.
In the past, the road was bad, the income was low, and most of the young and middle-aged people in the hometown went out to work; Now the road is good, many young people who go out can also get rich at home. Cement road became a road to prosperity. As a couplet writes: "The highway is open, the car is fast", "the mood is smooth, the people are rich", and "the road is open to people".
Into the new era, the road in my hometown has changed its makeup again. In 2019, the cement road in front of the hometown was paved with a layer of fine stone mixed asphalt and widened, and transformed into a black asphalt concrete road. The blackened road is deep and steady, generous and beautiful, the road surface is soft, the driving vibration is small, and it is very comfortable and makes people feel like bathing in the spring breeze. At the same time, the village opened a rural passenger car, villagers travel is very convenient, urban and rural development is more integrated. Someone used "a hand in front of the door, the car to the county. Do your business and go back, the county is at your doorstep." It vividly depicts the convenience of travel.
"In the city of peach and plum worry wind and rain, spring in the stream head shepherd's purse flowers." The road network of crisscrossed countryside carries the well-being of thousands of families, weaves a picture of spring, and interprets the exciting "story of spring".

Happy road

In 2017, Xishui was identified as a provincial "four good Rural Road" demonstration county. At present, it basically forms a traffic circle of 10 minutes between towns and villages, 20 minutes between neighboring towns and 30 minutes between towns and counties. Traffic roads are basically blackened, making traffic safer and faster.
The "four good rural road" is connected to the Party's care for the masses and the expectations of the people. It is a road of happiness and the road of the people's hearts, so that the lives of the people are as high as sesame blossoms. The road is ready, long, heavy cement poles are brought in, heavy transformers are installed, the voltage is stabilized, and all kinds of electrical appliances, microwave ovens, ovens, bath bars and heaters, etc., enter the homes of ordinary people. The road is good, the broadband is coming along, the mobile phone signal is weak and strong, and you can go online anywhere. Then, e-commerce came, online sales, online shopping, villagers' local chicken, duck, eggs and other agricultural products like long wings to fly in all directions, the need for agricultural materials and daily necessities from all directions to fly in. The road is good, rural resources can be developed, and rural tourism is booming. As night falls, with the dynamic melody, the villagers happily dance in the square dance, their faces are filled with happy smiles. Taking a new road, living in a new house, and enjoying a happy new life has become a true portrayal of the lives of fellow villagers.
In the past 40 years, although it has not come out of the arms of Xishui, from my hometown to the county town, from the countryside to the city, I have seen with my own eyes that the roads in my hometown have become wider, the water has become clear, the street lights have become bright, the cultural life has become rich, the village appearance has become beautiful, the people's income has become more, and the energy and spirit have become full.
