Physical interface types

Bus connection interface: Equipped with a standard D-type 9-pin interface for connecting to a fieldbus network, this interface is widely used in the industrial field and is characterised by solid connection and strong anti-interference capability. Through this interface, the CI810B AF 100 can be connected to a master device that complies with the relevant protocol standards, realising data interaction with the control system, ensuring that the field device information is accurately uploaded to the control layer and receiving control commands to the field. 

Expansion interface: There is a special terminal block interface for connecting various types of field devices, such as sensors, actuators, etc. The terminal block is of plug-and-play design. The terminal block adopts plug-and-play design, which is convenient for wiring and maintenance, and can quickly access different types of signal cables, supporting the transmission of analogue and digital signals. For example, when connecting a temperature sensor, the analogue signal from the sensor is introduced into the interface module through the terminal block and then processed and uploaded to the control system. 


Communication protocol interface characteristics

Protocol support: supports PROFIBUS DP communication protocol, which is a fieldbus protocol widely used in industrial automation, CI810B AF 100 follows this protocol standard and can flexibly configure the communication rate within the range of 9.6 kbps - 12 Mbps, so that you can select the appropriate rate according to the actual application scenarios and the data transmission needs to ensure fast and accurate data transmission, The rate can be selected according to the actual application scenario and data transmission requirements to ensure fast and accurate data transmission. 

Protocol compatibility: The interface strictly follows the PROFIBUS DP protocol specification, and can be seamlessly connected with a large number of devices complying with the protocol, including PLCs of different brands, distributed I/O devices, etc. In large-scale automation production lines, even if the devices are not in compliance with the protocol, the interface can be used as an interface for the transmission of data. In large-scale automated production lines, even if the devices come from multiple manufacturers, the CI810B AF 100 can integrate them into the same network for unified management and control thanks to protocol compatibility. 


Electrical interface features

Power supply interface: 24V DC (±10%) power supply, through a dedicated power interface to the power supply. The interface has a good electrical isolation performance, can effectively prevent the power supply interference on the communication signal, and at the same time in a certain voltage fluctuation range, can still ensure the stable operation of the interface module, to adapt to the complex power supply environment in the industrial field. 

Signal interface electrical parameters: for analogue signal interface, it supports standard voltage signals (such as 0 - 10V) and current signals (such as 4 - 20mA) input and output, with high resolution and high precision, and can accurately collect and transmit the analogue data of the field equipment; digital signal interface adopts industrial standard levels (such as 24V DC for logic ‘1 The digital signal interface adopts industrial standard level (e.g. 24V DC for logic ‘1’, 0V DC for logic ‘0’) to ensure the reliability and stability of signal transmission. 


Interface Connection and Use Points

Wiring specification: When connecting the interface, be sure to follow the strict wiring specification. When connecting the bus interface, you need to use a special shielded communication cable, and ensure that the interfaces at both ends of the cable are correctly connected, and at the same time, do a good job of grounding, to reduce the impact of electromagnetic interference on communication; connecting the device expansion interface, according to the type of device and signal type, correctly distinguish the wiring position of the terminal row, to avoid connecting wrongly resulting in abnormal signal transmission.

Configuration and debugging: After the interface connection is completed, the communication protocol parameters (such as device address, communication rate, data format, etc.) need to be configured correctly. Through the special configuration software or control system programming tools, match the parameter settings of CI810B AF 100 with the master station equipment and the connected field equipment, and debug after completing the configuration to ensure that the interface works properly and the data transmission is accurate.
