The METSO A413222 is a high-precision 8-channel isolated temperature input module specifically engineered for Metso Damatic XD and Valmet DNA distributed control systems. It provides direct connection to a wide range of thermocouple and RTD sensors without external signal conditioners. Each channel features individual galvanic isolation (1500V AC), 24-bit sigma-delta ADC, programmable input types, and comprehensive diagnostics including wire-break detection and sensor out-of-range monitoring. The module supports 2/3/4-wire RTD connections with automatic lead resistance compensation and internal/external cold-junction compensation for thermocouples. Housed in a rugged DIN-rail mountable enclosure with conformal-coated PCB, the A413222 operates from -20°C to +60°C and meets CE/UL/ATEX certifications.
