The METSO A413152 is a binary input module (BIU‑8) designed for seamless integration into Metso Damatic XD and Valmet DNA automation platforms. It provides eight optically isolated 24V DC input channels for monitoring limit switches, pushbuttons, proximity sensors, relay contacts, and other digital field devices. Each channel features individual status indication, common‑side or sinking/sourcing field wiring compatibility, and comprehensive protection against surge, reverse polarity, and transient events.
