Detailed jumper settings (key configurations)
3.1 Clearing CMOS (CLRTC)
Default 1-2 short circuit (normal).
Clear CMOS: After power off, move the jumper cap to 2-3, hold for 5 seconds, then move it back to 1-2, and power on again. This operation can reset the BIOS password and all settings.
3.2 COM Port Power Supply Selection (JCOMPWR1~4)
The 9th pin (RI) of each COM port (1-4) can be configured as no output,+5V, or+12V to power external serial devices (such as barcode scanners). JCOMPWR1 corresponds to COM1, JCOMPWR2 corresponds to COM2, and so on. Jumper settings:

3.3 COM4 mode selection (RS232/422/485) - JCOMPWR5, 6, 7

Note: In RS422/485 mode, the DB9 pin function of COM4 becomes a differential pair (TXD+/TXD -, RXD+/RXD -), as shown in Table 2-1 of the manual. RS485 mode supports multi station bus, but attention should be paid to terminal resistance matching (not built-in on the motherboard, external addition is required).
