Common faults:
Phenomenon countermeasures
Check if the CPU is properly installed and if the memory is securely plugged in when there is no display when powered on; Clear CMOS; Confirm that the monitor is connected to the VGA port (if no dedicated monitor is installed)
Cycle restart after startup, insufficient power supply or CPU overheating; Check the fan connection; Load FailSafe Defaults
The hard drive cannot recognize SATA mode set to AHCI but does not come with a pre installed driver; Replace the data cable or SATA port; Check the power cord
USB device not recognized. Check if Legacy USB Support is enabled; Try replacing the rear USB port
Check if the Boot Graphics Adapter Priority in BIOS is set to Onboard or Auto when there is no signal from the integrated graphics card
Audio silence confirmation HDA Controller enabled; Check if the front audio jumper (AAFP) is connected correctly; Restart after driver installation
Check if the watchdog accidentally resets and if the application is reset regularly; Is the timeout value too short
Special features and advanced extensions
Dual independent display: GMA X3100 supports various combinations such as CRT+LVDS, CRT+TV-OUT, etc., set in the Boot Display Device of BIOS, suitable for digital signage.
LVDS interface: 40 pin header, supports 24 bit single channel, can select panel power supply voltage through J7 jumper, needs to be matched with backlight control signals (L_BKLTCTL, L_BKLTEN).
TV-OUT: Output composite video (CVBS) through optional bracket, suitable for old display devices.
GPIO: 16 channel digital I/O (J4), which can be used to control external relays or read sensor status, operated through the GPIO register of Super I/O.
TPM: Supports secure boot and encrypted storage, requires driver installation and activation of Trusted Computing in BIOS.
