4.2 Oil Quantity and Level Inspection
The lubricating oil quantities provided in the manual (such as 3.5-5.0L for HF 40, 6.0-8.0L for HF 70, and 14.0-19.0L for HF 125) are for reference only. The actual filling must be operated according to the oil level mark corresponding to the installation position:
If equipped with an oil window, add it to the centerline of the oil window.
If equipped with an oil dipstick, add it to the reference mark.
If equipped with an overflow type oil plug, add it until the oil flows out from the overflow hole.
4.3 Lubricating oil replacement cycle - temperature determines frequency
The replacement cycle of lubricating oil depends on the average operating oil temperature, rather than simply cutting according to the number of operating hours:

Important: The manual does not recommend continuous operation between 80 ° C and 95 ° C. If the oil temperature is frequently within this range, oil testing should be conducted every 6 months.
4.4 Oil change operation process
Place a suitable container under the drain plug.
Simultaneously open the fuel plug and drain plug to allow the hot oil (which is easier to flow) to be completely drained.
Clean the drain plug magnet (if any), replace the gasket, and reinstall the drain plug.
Add new oil to the designated oil level mark according to the installation position.
Replace the gasket of the fuel plug and tighten the fuel plug.
Safety warning: Hot oil can cause serious burns! Cooling is required before changing the oil. Lubricating oil, solvents, and cleaning agents are toxic, and personal protective equipment must be used during operation. It is strictly prohibited to discharge them into the environment.
Regular maintenance and inspection checklist
5.1 Daily inspection of operational efficiency
Regularly remove dust from the gearbox and motor housing.
Check for any abnormal changes in noise under constant load - abnormal vibration or noise may indicate gear wear or bearing failure.
Check the wear of the friction surface of the brake motor and adjust the clearance if necessary.
Check for leaks at all sealing points, oil plugs, and pipelines.
If the operating temperature rises abnormally, the machine should be stopped immediately to investigate the cause.
5.2 Regular Maintenance Plan
Recommended maintenance cycle in the manual (based on typical operating conditions, adjusted according to actual usage conditions):
Check project cycle
External conditions (pollution, oil stains) 170-720 hours
Oil level check for 720 hours
Oil seal leakage inspection for 720 hours
Breathable filter (if available) 2200 hours
Tighten the installation bolts with a torque of 2000-4000 hours
The elastic components of the coupling have been worn for 2000-4000 hours
Axis alignment inspection every time the oil is changed (9000-18000 hours)
Special attention: For the installation of hollow shafts using tightening discs, the tightening torque of the tightening disc bolts must be rechecked after each maintenance or repair, which is the key to ensuring the reliability of the transmission connection.
5.3 Protection for long-term disuse
If the gearbox will not run for a long time (more than 1 month) after installation or running in period, it should be run without load at least once a month. If this cannot be achieved, anti-corrosion protection measures must be taken, such as applying rust inhibitors or completely filling the box with operating oil (see storage section).
Common troubleshooting checklist

The reducer does not rotate or has difficulty operating. The oil viscosity is too high/the oil level is too high/the load is too heavy/the gear is damaged. Recommended oil for replacement/oil level adjustment/transmission redesign/contact authorized repair point
Important reminder: If the output shaft of the reducer does not run with the motor and the motor is normal, it is highly likely that the gear is damaged. The machine must be stopped immediately and an authorized service center must be contacted.
