Core positioning and adaptation scope of the product

Core application: Real time monitoring of insulation resistance in IT systems (ungrounded systems), triggering graded alarms when insulation resistance is below the set response value, ensuring electrical system safety, suitable for complex power supply scenarios containing rectifiers, converters, thyristor controlled DC drivers, and other components.

Adaptation system type:

Basic adaptation: IT communication system (3AC, 3 (N) AC, single-phase AC), IT DC system

Special adaptation: IT AC systems with direct connection to DC circuits (such as AC systems with DC loads)

Voltage parameters:

Rated monitoring voltage: AC 0... 793V (frequency 50... 400Hz), DC 0... 650V (slightly different models, such as -7 series DC maximum 750V)

Extended monitoring voltage: Through coupling devices, AGH204S-4 supports AC 0... 1650V, AGH520S supports AC 0... 7200V, AGH150W-4 supports DC 0... 1760V

Core technology and functional characteristics

Measurement principle (Level 4 optional):

AMP measurement principle (default): superimposed pulsating AC measurement voltage (peak value 27V), suitable for AC/DC hybrid systems, measuring a maximum current of 230 μ A

DC measurement principle: Overlay 27V DC measurement voltage, only applicable to pure AC systems

UG/AMP measurement principle: Passive asymmetric measurement, only applicable to DC systems, supports DC fast response

AMP/UG measurement principle: AMP measurement+asymmetric measurement superposition, dual alarm channels respectively feedback different types of faults

Core functions:

Insulation monitoring: dual stage adjustable response value, hysteresis of about 25%, supports AC/DC fault differentiation alarm (can be set to only AC, only DC, only DC+/- and other modes)

Automatic adaptation: The system automatically adapts to leakage capacitance, with a maximum adaptation of 500 μ F for the -3/-4 series and 2 μ F for the -7/-8 series

Self testing and monitoring:

Automatic self-test: Automatically executed every 24 hours (-3/-4 series), requiring the alarm relay to be set to system fault alarm mode

Manual self-test: Press and hold the TEST button (>2s) to start, displaying "TEST OK" or "TEST ALARM"

Connection monitoring: Continuously monitor the connection status between the system and PE, and display "ALARM E-KE" or "ALARM L1-L3" (-3/-4 series) when disconnected

Alarm function:

Output: 2 conversion contact relays, supporting N/O (default) or N/C operation modes, rated contact voltage AC 250V/DC 300V, maximum switching current 5A

Indication: 2 alarm LEDs (ALARM1/ALARM2), supporting flashing function (1Hz), K1/K2 can be set to flash separately or simultaneously

Fault storage: When short circuiting the LT terminal, store the fault and press the RESET button (<1s) to clear it

Configuration function:

Third level menu: Setup 1 (basic functions: response value, relay mode), Setup 2 (extended functions: alarm type, coupling device, password protection, etc.), Setup 3 (measurement principle selection)

Password protection: Can activate password (2 letters) to prevent unauthorized modification of parameters

Time delay: Supports 1... 10s alarm delay (only -3/-4 series)

Interface function:

RS-485 interface: no electrical isolation, transmission protocol 9600 Baud (1 start bit+8 data bits+1 stop bit), maximum transmission distance 1200m

External indication: The M+/M - terminals support external k Ω measuring instruments (0... 400 μ A output) and require galvanic isolation

Response time CE=1 μ F is about 8 seconds; under asymmetric measurement principle, the response time for direct grounding faults is less than 1 second

Environmental adaptability working temperature: -10...+55 ℃ (when the temperature is>40 ℃, a 10mm ventilation gap needs to be reserved); Storage temperature: -40...+70 ℃ (T option model storage temperature -45...+85 ℃)
