Models containing "G" (such as D4SL-N2AFG-D4N) are equipped with electromagnetic locks and mechanical releases: when powered on, the electromagnet pushes the lock tongue to lock, and when powered off, it unlocks. Suitable for scenarios that require power on locking, but attention should be paid to the risk of automatic unlocking of the rear door after power failure.
(5) Other suffixes
-DN: Connector type with orange LED indicator light (24VDC)
No DN: Terminal block type, no indicator light
-D4: Terminal block type with indicator light (only for some models)
3.2 D4SL-NSK10-LK Lock Key Model
Basic type: D4SL-NSK10-LK (lock key number 01)
Internal leverage type: D4SL-NSK10-LKH (internal leverage sold separately, but cannot be used for other products)
The lock key number can be customized from 02 to 30 (please inquire with Omron representative)

Key points for mechanical installation and dimensions
4.1 Installation of switch body
Fixed with M4 screws, with a tightening torque of 0.75~1.15 N · m, and a washer must be used.
There is a reinforced fixing hole with a diameter of 4.5mm on the back of the switch, which can be inserted with a pin or bolt with a diameter of 4mm and a height of ≤ 1.5mm, further enhancing its impact resistance.
Do not use the switch as a door stopper: a mechanical stopper must be installed independently on the door frame to ensure that the operating key is located within the set area after the door is closed (the key insertion depth is 0.5-3mm, if D4SL-NK5 is installed in reverse, the set area is 2.1-3.0mm).
The farther the switch is from the door hinge, the better to reduce the lever force on the lock tongue. Suggest installing it on the side of the door handle.
4.2 Installation of Operation Key
Key models: Horizontal installation NK1, short type NK1S, with buffer rubber NK1G, vertical installation NK2/NK2G, adjustable NK3/NK5.
Key fixing screw torque: NK1/NK1S is 2.4~2.8 N · m; NK1G is 0.75~1.15 N · m.
The horizontal/vertical deviation between the key insertion center and the keyhole should be controlled within ± 0.8mm, and the insertion radius should follow the curve chart in the data (such as the maximum horizontal insertion radius of about 80mm for NK1/NK2).
Do not use the old D4SL-K series keys, otherwise they cannot be locked.
4.3 Installation of sliding key (D4SL-NSK10-LK)
Only applicable to lightweight doors (≤ 20kg), and the switch type must be D4SL-N.
The sliding base is fixed with 4 M6 screws, with a torque of 6.0~7.0 N · m. It is recommended to apply anti loosening glue.
The sliding handle can only be operated in the direction of A or B as shown in the diagram (horizontal or vertical), and cannot be reversed.
Installation of inner lever: First, use a T30 star wrench to remove the handle fixing screw, and then tighten the hexagonal part of the inner lever (opposite side 10mm) with a torque of 9-10 N · m. Be careful not to lose the spring washer and hex nut.
Do not forcefully push or pull the sliding handle without inserting the locking key, otherwise it may damage the internal mechanism.
The operating torque of the lock key should not exceed 1 N · m. After rotating to the "SLIDE LOCK" position, remove the key to prevent third-party misoperation.
Electrical Connection and Wiring Guide
5.1 Terminal Definition and Internal Circuit
The terminal numbering rules for terminal block switches are as follows (taking 4-contact A type as an example):
Door monitoring: 11 (public), 12 (NC), 42 (NO)
Lock monitoring: 33 (public), 34 (NC), 64 (NO)
For different contact configurations, special attention should be paid to: direct disconnection only certifies some NC terminal pairs, for example, 11-12 in type A are certified direct disconnection contacts; And 34-33 or 64-63 are not directly disconnected and cannot be used as the main channel for safety circuits.
Electromagnetic coil terminal:
E1(+24VDC)
E2(0V)
The positive and negative poles of the indicator light (if equipped) are consistent with the coil.
5.2 Coil Drive Characteristics
Rated voltage: 24VDC+10%/-15%
Starting current (approximately 10 seconds):
6-contact type: 0.26A (approximately 6.4W)
4/5 contact type: 0.2A (approximately 4.8W)
Maintain current: averaging about 0.2A (2.6W), internal PWM circuit automatically switches.
Important timing requirement: For electromagnetic lock types (models including G), power must be supplied to the electromagnetic coil only after the door is completely closed (the operation key is inserted). If you turn on the power first and then close the door, the key may not be able to get stuck by the lock tongue, causing the lock to fail.
5.3 Recommended cables and crimping terminals
Terminal block type suitable wire: AWG22~18 (0.3~0.75mm ²)
Recommended crimping terminals: PHOENIX CONTACT AI 0.34-8TQ(AWG22)、AI 0.5-8WH(AWG20)、AI 0.75-8GY(AWG18)
Stripping length: L1 ≤ 14mm, L2=8mm
Terminal screw torque: 0.5~0.6 N · m
Connector type (D4SL-NO type):
Applicable wires: AWG24~22 (0.2~0.3mm ²)
Supporting socket: JST XHP-10 shell+SXH-001T-P0.6 terminal
Attention: The rated current of the connector type is relatively low, and should not exceed 2A when AWG24 is used.
