The Omron D4SL-N series safety door lock switch has become the preferred choice for many equipment manufacturers and system integrators due to its locking retention force of up to 1300N, flexible contact configuration, and unique sliding key attachment. Product Family and Core Features

2.1 D4SL-N Safety Door Lock Switch

The D4SL-N series belongs to the electromagnetic door lock switch, which is divided into two types: mechanical lock+electromagnetic release and electromagnetic lock+mechanical release. Its core advantages include:

High locking force: The key has a holding force of up to 1300N, which can resist moderate external forces and prevent the door from opening abnormally under unexpected force.

Flexible contact configuration: Provides three basic frames: 4-contact, 5-contact, and 6-contact. Each frame also includes multiple built-in switch combinations, which can simultaneously achieve door status monitoring (opening/closing) and lock tongue status monitoring (locking/unlocking).

Direct disconnection mechanism: All NC (normally closed) contacts comply with the direct disconnection requirements of EN60947-5-1, ensuring that the contacts are forcibly disconnected in the event of a switch failure, meeting the "fault safety" principle of the safety circuit.

IP67 protection level (excluding head keyhole): The switch body can be immersed in water for a short period of time, but it should be noted that the keyhole cannot be exposed to cutting fluid, oil stains, or chemical solvents for a long time.

Quick wiring selection: Terminal block type and connector type (M12 circular connector) are available, and the connector type can achieve "one click plugging and unplugging", greatly reducing wiring time.

Rotating head: It can change the insertion direction of the operating key (front, top, side) without disassembling the main body, adapting to different door frame layouts.

2.2 D4SL-NSK10-LK sliding key kit

This attachment is designed specifically for lightweight sliding doors or hinged doors (door weight ≤ 20kg), with the core value of preventing personnel from being trapped: when the operator enters the dangerous area, they can insert their own locking key into the sliding handle and rotate it to the "SLIDE LOCK" position. At this time, no one outside can move the sliding handle to remove the operating key, thus avoiding others from accidentally closing the door and locking internal personnel. The kit includes:

Sliding base (pre installed but not fixed)

Operation key (D4SL-NK1 horizontal installation type)

2 locking keys (optional from 01 to 30, standard 01)

4, 5, and 6 contacts all have different internal wiring logic:

4-contact standard type (internal series connection):

A: 1NC/1NO+1NC/1NO (one set each for door monitoring and lock monitoring, normally open/closed, and connected in series internally)

B:1NC/1NO + 2NC

C:2NC + 1NC/1NO

D:2NC + 2NC

4-contact non series type (S/T/U/V): The contact form is the same as above, but the door monitoring and lock monitoring circuits are not connected in series internally, suitable for control systems that require independent signal feedback.

5 contact types (E/F/G/H):
