The HIH-4000 series humidity sensor is designed

Especially for high-volume OEM(original Equipment manufacturer) users.

Direct input to a controller or other device is possible for the near-linear voltage output of this sensor. With a typical current consumption of only 200µA, the HIH-4000 series is generally ideal for low-leakage, battery operating systems.

Tight sensor interchangeability reduces or eliminates OEM production calibration costs. Individual sensor calibration data is available.

The hi-4000 series offers instrument-quality RH(relative humidity) sensing performance competitively priced in the industry, solderable SIP(single direct connection package).

Available in two lead spacing configurations, the RH sensor is laser-trimmed, thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element with on-chip integrated signal conditioning.

The multi-layer structure of the sensing element provides excellent resistance to most application hazards such as moisture, dust, dirt, oil and common environmental chemicals.
