The MVCweb is Honeywell's networked, freely programmable building automation controller that includes standard BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP and LonWorks protocols.
It represents Honeywell's comprehensive commitment to reduce total installation costs as well as total building life cycle costs such as construction investment and construction operation.
MVCweb combines the two major open communication standards in the building industry today: BACnet and LonWorks. As a true BACnet® Building Controller (B-BC), MVCweb can be easily integrated into any third-party BACnet system. In addition, the MVCweb (in combination with IF-LON) is a complete LonWorks® controller that adds value to Honeywell's portfolio with third-party LonWorks manufacturers.
MVCweb can run a wide variety of building management applications, whether traditional heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) applications, energy management functions including optimal start/stop, night purification, maximum load requirements, monitoring functions lighting, shading, heating and energy metering, and many other applications.
With a peer-to-peer connection, MVCweb does not rely on the upper controller or any network interface and can be easily integrated into Honeywell's EBI and SymmetrE® systems.
