The Vibro 573-935-202C is a control module designed for the VM600 machinery protection and condition monitoring system. This module provides comprehensive signal conditioning capabilities for vibration monitoring applications on critical rotating equipment including turbines, compressors, and generators.
The module features four dynamic signal input channels for vibration measurement and two dedicated tachometer channels for speed and phase reference signals. Each dynamic channel accepts a wide range of input signals including IEPE accelerometers, velocity sensors, and eddy current proximity probes. The input circuits provide high impedance loading with DC ranges from 0 to +20 V and AC ranges up to 10 V maximum.
The 573-935-202C incorporates integrated signal conditioning with programmable filtering options. Analog frequency response ranges from DC to 10 kHz for buffered outputs, with a flat response characteristic of 0.1 dB to 10 kHz under appropriate load conditions. The module supports integration for velocity measurement with a frequency range of 2.5 Hz to 10 kHz, enabling conversion of acceleration signals to velocity units for compliance with industry standards.
Dynamic Channels: 4 inputs for vibration monitoring
Speed Channels: 2 tachometer inputs for speed and phase reference
Input Impedance: 200 kΩ typical
DC Input Range: 0 to +20 V
AC Input Range: 10 V maximum
Current Input Range: 0 to 25 mA DC, 8 mA AC maximum
Frequency Response: DC to 60 kHz (3 dB)
Buffered Outputs: Front panel BNC connectors for raw signal access

The module provides buffered raw dynamic signal outputs accessible via front panel BNC connectors and rear panel screw terminals. Output impedance is 50 Ω, allowing connection to portable analyzers and external monitoring equipment without loading the sensor signal. Transfer ratios are 1 V/V for voltage inputs and 0.3245 V/mA for current inputs. Phase error is specified at less than 5 degrees from DC to 1 kHz and less than 30 degrees from DC to 10 kHz.
Designed for integration with VM600 racks, the 573-935-202C communicates with IOC4T I/O modules for alarm relay outputs and analog signal retransmission. The module supports the full range of VM600 protection features including programmable alarm setpoints, configurable time delays, and latching alarm logic. Front panel status LEDs provide clear indication of channel operation and alarm conditions.
