The Vibro 200-595-002-011 is a CPUM processor module designed for the VM600 machinery protection and condition monitoring system. This module serves as the rack controller and communication gateway, managing all measurement cards within the VM600 rack and providing interfaces for external system integration.
The CPUM functions as the central processing unit for the VM600 rack, coordinating data acquisition from MPC4 protection cards and I/O modules. It executes configuration management, alarm processing, and data aggregation functions. The module maintains system configuration parameters in non-volatile memory and provides diagnostic reporting for all rack components.
The CPUM provides multiple communication interfaces for integration with plant control systems and monitoring software. Ethernet connectivity supports 10/100Base-T operation with Modbus TCP and PROFINET protocols. Serial interfaces include RS-232 and RS-422/485 ports supporting Modbus RTU protocol. These interfaces allow connection to DCS systems, PLCs, and the VM600 MPS configuration software.
Product Type: VM600 CPUM processor module
Rack Controller: Central management for VM600 racks
Ethernet: 10/100Base-T with Modbus TCP, PROFINET
Serial Interfaces: RS-232, RS-422/485, Modbus RTU
Front Panel Display: LCD for status and parameter visualization
Configuration: VM600 MPSx software via Ethernet or serial
Alarm Reset: Common alarm reset functionality
Event Logging: System and measurement event logging

The CPUM includes a front panel LCD display that provides real-time visualization of protection card monitoring outputs and alarm limit values. This local display capability enables operators to quickly assess system status without requiring connection to external software. The module also provides common alarm reset functionality for the entire rack, simplifying alarm management procedures.
When paired with an IOCN communication interface card, the CPUM forms a complete rack controller solution for VM600 systems. The module supports configuration of protection cards including MPC4 and AMC600 cards through a single connection to the MPS software. Event logging captures system events and measurement events, accessible through the VM600 MPSx software for troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
