Comware V9
Comware is a network operating system independently developed by H3C for network devices. It contains rich network functions and supports a full range of network devices from campus to data center, from enterprise to carrier level. Comware not only breaks the monopoly of multinational companies and open source communities, but also drives the rapid development of national basic network, which has broad application prospects and important strategic significance.
Based on Comware V7, Comware V9 upgrades and adjusts the architecture for openness, containerization, programmability, visualization and other requirements to better adapt to the development trend of the current network operating system.
Comware V9 offers the following advantages:
Using the native Linux kernel, the functions of Comware V9 are fully implemented in user mode, making it easy to upgrade the kernel version.
Support containerization, support the release of Comware in the form of containers, and support the deployment of containers on devices running Comware V9 to run third-party applications, improve the openness of Comware *.
Deepen the modular design idea, so that businesses can be independent of each other, can be deployed independently, or use the form of independent software to release a software function of Comware.
The architecture fully considers the requirements of virtualization products to achieve lightweight support architecture, making the deployment of virtualization products more flexible and fast.
SmartMC (Intelligent Management Center)
With the increase of network scale, the network edge needs to use a large number of access devices, which makes the management of these devices very tedious. The main purpose of SmartMC is to solve the problem of centralized management of a large number of decentralized network devices. It is designed to solve the operation and maintenance tasks of small enterprises based on switches. SmartMC implements unified network operation, maintenance, and management through built-in and graphical operations
SmartMC four business segments simplify the operation, maintenance and management of small and medium-sized networks:
Intelligent Management:
This section describes how to select the role of the device, configure the FTP server, configure the global configuration, and configure the NMS interface
Intelligent operation and maintenance:
The functions include group management, device or group upgrade backup, monitoring, and device fault replacement
Visualization:
This section describes how to view and manage the network topology and display the device list
Smart Business:
This section describes how to manage users: After network access users are created and activated, they can access the SmartMC network through ports deployed with one-click defense.
The H3C S5580X-EI&S5580S-EI series switches have built-in SmartMC for unified vertical virtualization management.
