The ABB AI02 is a high-density 16-channel analog input module belonging to the ABB S500 I/O family. It accepts standard analog signals including 4-20 mA and 0-10 V, converting them with 16-bit resolution for precise monitoring and control in PLC-based systems.
Designed for use with ABB's AC500 PLCs and S500 remote I/O stations, the AI02 module enables seamless acquisition of analog process variables such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level. Each of the 16 differential or single-ended inputs can be individually configured via software, offering flexibility in signal adaptation. The module communicates with the bus coupler via the S500 backplane bus, ensuring fast and deterministic data exchange.
