The COMMANDER 350 is a high-performance 1/4 DIN (96 x 96 mm) process controller designed for a wide range of industrial control tasks. It combines advanced PID algorithms with simple configuration, ensuring stable and accurate regulation. The controller accepts direct connection of thermocouples, RTDs, and linear signals (mA, V), eliminating the need for external signal conditioners.
Universal Input: Configurable for thermocouple (J, K, T, etc.), Pt100, 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, 0-10 V, and more.
Dual-Line Display: Upper display shows process value (PV), lower display shows setpoint (SP) or output, with LED backlight.
Control Modes: On/off, P, PI, PID with selectable action (reverse/direct).
Auto-Tuning: One-touch auto-tuning of PID parameters for optimal response.
Output Options: Up to 3 outputs: relay (SPDT), logic (SSR drive), and analog (4-20 mA) for retransmission or control.
Alarms: Up to 2 configurable alarms with high/low deviation, absolute, or band types.
Communications: Optional RS485 Modbus RTU for integration with SCADA or PLC systems.
Configuration: Front keypad or PC software (iTools) for easy setup.
Supply Voltage: 100-240 V AC 50/60 Hz, or 24 V AC/DC (optional).
Power Consumption: < 6 VA.
Input Accuracy: ±0.1% of span for thermocouples, ±0.05% for RTDs and linear inputs.
Sampling Rate: 4 samples per second.
Output Ratings: Relay 3 A @ 250 V AC, logic 10 V DC @ 20 mA, analog 4-20 mA (max load 500 Ω).
Operating Temperature: 0°C to +55°C.
Front Protection: IP66 (NEMA 4X) when panel mounted.
Dimensions: 96 x 96 x 94 mm (panel cut-out 92 x 92 mm).

The COMMANDER 350 continuously measures the process variable, compares it with the setpoint, and generates an output signal based on PID calculations. The auto-tuning function automatically determines appropriate P, I, and D values during a startup cycle. The controller also features ramp-to-setpoint and soft-start capabilities. Non-volatile memory retains all parameters in case of power loss.
Heat treatment furnaces and ovens.
Environmental chambers and climatic test equipment.
Plastic extruders and injection molding machines.
Packaging machinery (temperature control of sealers).
HVAC systems (temperature and humidity control).
The controller is mounted in a panel with the provided fixing clamps. Wiring is via screw terminals on the rear. Configuration is performed using the intuitive front panel keys or via the iTools software (requires optional communication). The software allows real-time monitoring, data logging, and parameter cloning for multiple units.
CE, UL, CUL listed.
RoHS compliant.
Designed to IEC 61010-1 safety standards.
