8-Channel 4-20 mA Inputs

The DSAI130DK01 provides eight analog input channels, each configurable for 4-20 mA signals. The module can accept both active (externally powered) and passive (loop-powered) 2-wire transmitters. For passive transmitters, the module supplies a regulated 24 V DC loop power (max. 30 mA per channel) directly through the input terminals, simplifying wiring and eliminating the need for external power supplies. High-Speed Data Acquisition

The module samples each channel sequentially with a conversion time of 1 ms per channel, resulting in a total update cycle of 8 ms for all 8 channels. This fast update rate allows the module to capture rapidly changing process variables in applications such as flow control or pressure monitoring. The 12-bit resolution provides 4096 discrete steps over the 4-20 mA range, which is sufficient for most industrial process control requirements. An onboard filter reduces high-frequency noise to ensure stable readings.
